Monitoring the angle

For a healthcare startup client, we created a custom app that interfaces wirelessly with a unique sensor device. The device monitors the reclining angle of a patient in the hospital ward or ICU.

Patients can be at risk of Ventilator Acquired Pneumonia (VAP) if their resting angle is not kept within a certain range. The app enables the nursing staff to set the proper range, see out-of-range alerts, and evaluate data collected over time.
